Phonte and Mark Morrison announce the “Return of the Mack”

Mark Morrison’s 90’s hit “Return of the Mack” is the ultimate break up song. If you’ve recently been involved in a break-up, play this track. Trust me. You’ll feel like a new chapter is opening in your life and everyone should be ready for you!
Now, this cover by Phonte (in collaboration with Zo!, and should also mention Phonte uses the alias Tigallo the Tay God on this song) was probably made as a joke. But, it’s actually very well done. I love the ending too, where they mix in a bit of Geto Boys - My Mind’s Playing Tricks on Me.

Let’s triple the “Crazy”
I thought I’d switch it up and give you not one cover, but two in the same post! I know, Christmas just came early. I love the mellow feeling you get when you listen to this song (whatever version).

Phonte and Bobby Caldwell should be your “Flame”

Damn. Just damn. Little Brother’s Phonte can’t only rap, but this guy has some voice to do. His cover of Bobby Caldwell’s “My Flame” is an instant classic. I love his own little “Sky’s the Limit” at the end too. If you don’t have this Zo! album, you need to get on that!
