Usually I don’t post videos with shitty quality, but this dude can sing! Only homie I’ve heard that can do this song justice. It has a real raw feel to it.

Tank and Bonnie Raitt know, “I Can’t Make You Love Me”

Being a dude, sometimes it’s a little embarrassing to admit I like slow jams. But fuck it. I LOVE slow jams. Just like Marques Houston said, “There’s something about a sexy song… that makes me feel at home”.
This particular slow jam caught my ear. Tank does an amazing job covering the track “I Can’t Make You Love Me” originally by Bonnie Raitt. This Brian McKnight-esque performance is the perfect song to relax to. The acoustic piano accompanied with the slow, melodic vocals just soothes the heart.
Shout out to my boy DJ Cuse for the find. Follow him on twitter at http://twitter.com/djcuse.

Aaliyah and The Isley Brothers want a “Choosey Lover”

The world needs another Aaliyah. To me, Aaliyah represented the ultimate girl next door. She was such a sweet heart but was also swagged out. And damn that girl could sing. It got me thinking, is there anyone in music today that can carry out the same type of persona? Rihanna is a bad girl. Let’s get real we’d all like to fuck her but not really take her home to meet our parents. Nicki Minaj? haha next… Keri Hilson? Not really…
Anyway, I love this cover she did of the Isley Brothers’ “Choosey Lover”. It’s definitely a tune that can set the mood right if you ever need one. But it makes me miss her so much more.
